Soulseek not opening windows 7

In Short: search for "soulseek-client. After that your SLSK is fresh and clean again and you could set your config again. Ok, I found 3 soulseek-client. SoulSeek still doesn't work. I uninstalled the programm, and reinstalled, still doesn't work. I can't find a new created soulseek-client. Search in the forum for "soulseek" and "dat" and U will surely find a more detailed version how to clear. The Installer is very simple: create directory, copy files, create shortcuts, finished; there's no reg settings, cleaning or anything included.

A simple uncompress the setup routine produces the soulseekqt. This thread is for Soulseek crashing or freezing. Crashing is what my problem is. I'm sure it's a software problem since hardware didn't change from the last time I was using a stable version of the program. In any case I'm going to be getting some help from someone off of here.

It's integrated with the latest TagLib library, I tested it with the folder that was causing the crash on your machine and it goes through without any problem. I'm wondering if it'll have problems with any of your other files.

So, SoulSeek was always working fine for me. Now it started to freeze right after the beginning, I have barely time to do one click before it freezes. I think that it is because one guy just decided to download hundreds of files at once and SoulSeek cannot handle the queue. The question is - how can I stop him from doing so when SoulSeek freezes instantly?

Hi nnsxnks first: SLSKqt handles even a few thousand without problems, so that's not the cause. As it seems to me the config file got corrupted and freezes when SLSK works thru it to get ready. The config files are named soulseek-client. Rename them or move them to a different location so SLSK could start again.

If that works you might have exported on some time your settings, else you have to start configuring from scratch. Lo and behold, the system will still not open. Something is either seriously fucking up my program or there is some elegant little gremlin which is causing a simple but obscure problem. Either way, I need your help. Hi evilbad basically I think your HD was just under full load when moving files around 8LED always lit , which means your windows hangs until the to do list is worked through.

As long as a corrupt SLSK config file exists it might not start. That is very strange, I will try that if worst comes to worst. Apparently a known issue with Inno and Avast I think it only happens when the executable is unknown to Avast though, so hopefully it goes away if enough people run it.

Anyway I'm very happy to hear the build is working! Hi, sorry about replying with such delay, my bad. But it still installed successfully. But I don't think Avast had anything to do with those other errors that I reported, while attempting to install SoulseekQt Yeah, the is already well known to Avast since a number of users tried to run it.

This was stopping my DLs and Abvorting them and turning them Red.
