Ignore this. Tuesday, January 13, AM. Well I found this just now through Google and was surprised that other people had the same problem. It seems that the update to W7 had changed enought the the VZAM stopped working right somehow, because another computer I use the USB modem with which still has Vista installed still works fine with it. I will try installing the latest version over the one I have on my W7 computer, and if it works I'll say it here.

Thanks for the info though, 'cause I wasn't sure if it was just me I'm able to connect just fine now. Saturday, February 7, PM. I am using version 6. It was an update I downloaded from Verizon.
