The calendar page gives a summary for the whole year organised by date - and contains links to many more events. For Tiverton Pony Club private events see the events page. Triathlon and Tetrathlon events are not shown below. They have their own special Tetrathlon page, and their dates also appear on the Calendar.

The listings below represent only a small fraction of what is going on, and are chosen to appeal to enthusiastic but not "professional" children and adults for example BSJA, BE, etc events are not included.

Virtually all of the below should be within one hour travelling time from Tiverton with a lorry or trailer. I would also recommend checking out the following websites of our "local" XC courses, and there are further venue contact details at the bottom of the page. This event was originally scheduled for the 16th August, but had to be rescheduled due to uncut grass. We hope that all those entered for the original date will be able to come to the revised one, but if you were entered for the original event:.

New entrants are welcome, and note that the Novice entry criteria have been changed slightly - see the schedule and entry form. At : Plainsfield Farm , Withleigh. This event is aimed especially at those children who are real beginners at the sport of eventing and who need to gain confidence on their ponies.

Class 1 : Novice, approx 80cm, combination not to have competed at BE90 or above Class 2 : Open, approx 1m. At : Van Post, Cove, Tiverton. At : Nutwell Court , Lympstone. There is a junior course with 2'6" fences, and a senior course with classes from 2'6" to 3'3" - 3'6". At: Ponchydown Farm , Blackborough, near Cullompton.

This is Puissance night, and the cost includes tickets good seats and return journey by coach. Tickets will be "first come first served" and are open to Members, Families and Friends.

The decision of the Judges and Organiser is final. All pony club competitors MUST wear medical armbands. All other competitors are advised to wear them. A Limited Number will be available to purchase on the day. For cross-country riding over fences 80cm high and above; a jockey skull cap with NO fixed peak must be worn. It is also strongly recommended that a jockey skull cap is worn for cross country riding over lower fences.

Long hair must be tied up so that the judges can clearly see numbers on bibs. Age on day of competition. Dogs on leads always and please clear up after them. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, injury or negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

The Committee and Organisers do not hold themselves responsible for any loss, injury or illness to any horse, rider, spectator or any other person or property.
